The adventure kicks off bright and early as your transport arrives to collect you from your accommodation in Salta City. Once aboard, the vehicle embarks on a journey along National Route 40 heading north.
The initial stop is at the Los Graneros Incas archaeological site. Here, we travel back in time to explore the lives of the region's ancient inhabitants. The well-preserved stone structures and the tales shared by the guide offer a fascinating glimpse into their lifestyle.
Following this visit, we proceed to Devil’s Bridge, a remarkable natural cavern carved by the Calchaquí River. This breathtaking location provides a unique chance to witness the meltwater flowing through the cavern, crafting a natural marvel. Necessary equipment will be provided to explore the cave's interior.
After traversing the cave, we pause to savor a snack while soaking in the stunning surroundings.
As the excursion continues, we traverse the Cuesta del Obispo, a winding mountain road that offers sweeping views of the valley and striking rock formations. Our next destination is the Los Cardones National Park, famed for its towering giant cacti that rise majestically against the azure sky.
