Descripción del Tour:

Our adventure kicks off at 07:00 AM with the pick-up from your hotel situated in the heart of Salta. We will journey south through the province, following National Route No. 68, until we arrive at the CIARG, the Guachipas Rock Art Interpretation Center. This is recognized as one of the top attractions in Guachipas and stands as the most archaeologically significant site in the Lerma Valley.
Our exploration proceeds to the rocky hillside. Eaves, caves, and walls composed of red sandstone showcase numerous depictions of camelids, condors, felines, and other indigenous animals, in addition to geometric and abstract designs. The awe-inspiring Guachipas Painted Caves were crafted from the 9th to the 15th centuries by the native societies of this region.
The most captivating elements are the red, black, and white figures resembling warriors, referred to as shield-men. Observing them transports you back to that ancient time, envisioning those men and women, acknowledging their harmonious bond with nature and, above all, honoring their legacy.
Around midday, we will retrace our path along National Route 68 and proceed to the Cabra Corral Reservoir, where you'll have free time to enjoy lunch while admiring the expansive 130 km² water mirror of the dam.
Post-lunch, we'll explore Finca Santa Anita, a place where family dedication and local effort have helped preserve ancestral traditions and unique artifacts, culminating in the creation of the first Tobacco Museum in Argentina. Traditional activities such as goat cheese production, chili peppers, Creole tobacco cultivation, and a collection of aromatic medicinal plants and native trees, will make this visit a fragrant journey into the past filled with ancient wisdom.
Our services conclude around 6:00 p.m. with a drop-off at your hotel in Salta.
