At around 7:30 am, we will depart from our chosen hotels in Salta and make our way through the Lerma Valley towards the charming town of El Lane. Our journey continues through Chicoana, as we enter the Quebrada de Los Laureles and then Quebrada del Escoipe, eventually reaching Maray, a quaint mountain village.
From this point, we'll ascend the Cuesta del Obispo, a winding road offering spectacular views of the Enchanted Valley, dotted with small homes and fields of corn and fruit. Our route leads us to the pinnacle of our trip at Piedra del Molino, standing at 3384 meters above sea level.
We will then proceed through Los Cardones National Park along a historic route that was once part of the ancient Inca Trail, known as the Tin-Tin Straight. Upon reaching Cachi, we will be treated to breathtaking views of the Nevado de Cachi and Payogasta.
In Cachi, we'll explore the town and its key landmarks, including a visit to the Archaeology Museum (entrance not included) and the historic Church.
After concluding our visit, we will head back to our selected hotels in Salta, arriving at approximately 7:30 p.m.
