The tour kicks off with a pick-up from central hotels in Salta, starting at 07:00 am.
The first destination is the town of Purmamarca, where you can marvel at the Hill of Seven Colors, the Church, and the Artisanal Market. We will pass through the Hornillos Post, continuing towards the town of Tilcara to explore the Pucará.
Next, we stop at Huacalera, where we cross the Tropic of Capricorn, offering views of the Cerro la Pollera de la Coya. A visit to the Church of Uquía follows, home to the famous Arquebusier Angels paintings, a significant relic from the Cuzqueña school. We then arrive at Humahuaca, known for its impressive Cathedral and the Independence Monument (El Indio) by sculptor Soto Avendaño.
After lunch, we head back to admire the "Painter's Palette" that embraces the town of Maimara. Time allowing, we will return to Salta via the scenic cornice road, rich with subtropical vegetation, passing through the Abra de Santa Laura, and viewing the La Ciénaga, Las Maderas, and Campo Alegre dams.
