Tour Description
Day 1
Arrival in Salta
Upon arriving at the Salta airport or bus terminal, you will be escorted to your hotel located in the city center.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 2
Full-Day Excursion to Cafayate
Duration: 12 hours
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, a private guide will collect you to embark on a scenic journey from Salta heading south via Route 68, which meanders through the Lerma Valley and its historic towns. You will arrive at the Quebrada de las Conchas, where wind and water erosion have carved intriguing formations in the rocks, such as El Anfiteatro, La Garganta del Diablo, El Sapo, Los Castillos, and more.
In Cafayate, we will explore two renowned wineries, celebrated for their Torrontés wine, distinguished by the unique climate and soil of the region.
After lunch, we'll journey back to Salta through the Quebrada de las Conchas and the Lerma Valley, where the changing sunlight will offer a fresh perspective on the landscape.
Your guide will return you to your hotel in Salta.

Day 3 and 4
Humahuaca and Iruya Gorges - 2-Day Adventure
Following breakfast at your hotel, your private guide will pick you up to commence a 2-day excursion to Iruya.
The adventure begins with a visit to Purmamarca Village to admire the Hill of Seven Colors, the Church, and the Crafts Market Square. Continuing to Tilcara, we will explore the Pucará and the Archaeological Museum.
Next, we proceed to Huacalera, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, where you'll witness the hues of the hill known as Pollera la Colla.
Along the route, you'll visit the Church of Uquía, home to the Arquebusier Angels paintings, and arrive at Humahuaca, featuring its grand cathedral and the Independence Monument (El Indio), allowing ample time to explore.
Passing through Iturbe and the Abra del Cóndor (3900 m), you'll discover the entrance to a stream leading to the village of Iruya, of Hispanic descent. Here, you'll spend the night in a 4-star hotel, and the following day, leisurely make your way back to Salta. Along the journey, we'll visit San Salvador de Jujuy, returning to Salta in the afternoon.

Farewell to Salta
After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and have some free time before your scheduled transfer to the airport or bus terminal.
